Depositing Funds

You have 4 options for depositing funds:

1. Checks

Make payable to: Axos Clearing, LLC.
Be sure to put your account number on the check in the "Memo" field.
Mail to:

If your account has little or no equity relative to a check or money order deposit, the funds may take up to 7 business days to clear.

2. Federal Funds Wire

To send a Fed Fund Wire, please provide your bank with the following instructions:

       FBO: Input Client Name(s) and 8-digit brokerage account number here (i.e. John Doe 1234-5678)

WIRE NOTES:
• When sending wires, account titles must match.
• If any of the above information is missing, there may be a delay in crediting the account or the funds may be returned to the sender.
• Wired funds (via Federal Fund or International Wire) are available to use immediately.

3. International (SWIFT) Bank Wire in US dollars ($USD)

To send an International Wire, please provide your bank with the following instructions:

SWIFT Wire Notes: Any international wire where the By Order (B/O) indicates a name that does not match that of the beneficiary account is considered a third party wire, and is therefore prohibited. When sending wires, account titles must match.

4. ACH Transfer

Authorization to initiate entries into the Automated Clearing House (ACH) System

By completing the ACH MoneyLink Agreement {PDF}, it will serve as authorization for Trading Direct’s clearing agent, Axos Clearing LLC, to establish Electronic Transfer Instructions with your designated bank account.

Please mail the completed form along with a voided check (in lieu of a voided check, a letter acknowledging your account on bank letterhead that is signed by a bank employee, or a monthly statement will also suffice) to:

Important notes regarding ACH profiles & transfers:
• Limit 1 bank account per brokerage account. Approximate set-up time: 3-5 business days, upon which Trading Direct will send an e-mail notification.
• Initial Deposits: For new accounts, an initial deposit will NOT be accepted via ACH.
• If your account has little equity relative to the ACH deposit, it may take up to 7 business days before the money can be used.
• The maximum cumulative dollar amount per account for incoming deposits may be limited over a five (5) business day period, depending on the level of equity in the brokerage account.
• All ACH deposits are subject to review and can be held for up to 60 calendar days.
• The maximum cumulative dollar amount per account for outgoing withdrawals may be limited over a five (5) business day period, depending on the level of equity in the brokerage account.
• Bank accounts designated for use with ACH profiles, may be prevented from being changed for up to 60 calendar days from the last change and/or addition.


Depositing Restrictions:

• $500 minimum for initial deposit
• Deposits are only accepted in US ($) dollars.
• The name on the Trading Direct account must appear on the check being deposited.
• Corporate checks may only be deposited to corporate accounts.

We cannot accept:

• foreign currencies
• credit or debit cards
• bank cashier's checks for under $10,000
• third party checks
• money orders
• goverment issued tax refund checks
• checks from foreign banks without a United States bank affiliation.
